    • Once you have logged into the Customer Portal the “User” drop-down at the top right portion of the screen will take you to “Profile”. Your user profile will be displayed with various fields that may be updated. You may change your password by entering and confirming your password in the fields in the lower portion of this window, then selecting the Submit button. A message will be displayed at the top right of the screen confirming the change to your profile.

    • The Site Administrator is a newly developed feature of our Customer Utilities site that was designed to provide you with more flexibility and enhanced control regarding access to information related to your business with the Steel Dynamics Flat Roll Group. Your Site Administrator’s name is displayed in several areas, including the Reports tab and when you edit your user profile. A single mouse click on the Site Administrator’s name displayed on these windows will allow you to send them an email. The Site Administrator manages the Customer Utilities users who may view your company’s information, as well as the specific reports that each user can access. The Site Administrator will also be responsible for managing user access to the new Coils for Sale portion of our site once it has been fully implemented.

    • No. Many of our customers have multiple customer IDs established to distinguish between business units or facilities. You may use the same username and password to gain access to information related to all customer IDs associated with your company. Once you have logged on to the FRG Customer Utility Portal, you will see a drop-down box at the top right-hand corner of your screen. If you have been granted access to multiple customer IDs, the associated customer names will be available for you to select in this drop down box. Your internal Site Administrator controls which users have access to the various customer IDs. Please contact your Inside Sales Representative if you would like more information on the Site Administrator tool.

    • The Reports tab in Customer Utilities provides you with access to a number of reports detailing your business with Steel Dynamics. Your Site Administrator will determine the specific reports that you may view. A listing of the reports that are presently available is included below for your reference. If you have suggestions for additional reports, or modifications to an existing report, please contact your sales representative.     • The reports that your Site Administrator has authorized you to access will be categorized and displayed on the Reports tab. A single click on any report category will display a listing of available reports. Please note that some reports are displayed in multiple categories for your convenience. All reports may be opened in a printer-friendly window or downloaded as a PDF file. Additionally, many reports may also be downloaded as a CSV file and viewed in Excel. Selecting the Open in Printer Friendly Window icon is likely the best option if you intend to view the report on your monitor. Many reports contain links to other reports that may allow you to easily access additional information. These links are easily recognizable as they are both underlined and displayed in blue text. Selecting the Download PDF icon is the best option if you intend to print or save the report. Please note that the links described above do not work if the report has been downloaded as a PDF file, although they will continue to be underlined and displayed in blue text. If you have suggestions for additional reports, or modifications to an existing report (including additional links to related information), please contact your sales representative.

    • You have the ability to download the data displayed in many of the reports available on the Reports tab. If the specific report you are working with is available for download, it will have a Download CSV icon displayed along with the Download PDF or Open in Printer Friendly Window icons. If you select Download CSV, the data will be downloaded to your computer in a comma-separated file that may be displayed in Excel.

    • The Activity search searches through all Activity pages (Claim, Open, Scheduled, and Shipped) and finds where your entered text appears. If there is a match you should only see rows that contain your search term. Some columns are not visible but are still searchable. Ex. Heat Number on the Shipped Activity page. If you would like to view a hidden column all you need to do is click the respective toggle column link above the activity table. Searchable columns include but are not limited to: Division PO # Order # Coil # Invoice # Coil Status Planned Routing Dates Heat # Description Unit
